It's a Hawaiian word used to derisively describe white people.

Yeah. I googled it but the result was about anyone non native and then it said especially white people. Not sure if there is some grey area or different definitions.

Is that why the trolling slowed? Sadly just towards me. I'm sure the rest of the forum is now envious of me

Obviously respect the opinion, just a question. What would constitute keeping him / firing him next year? Is it like he better get in the 2nd round?
Just wondering. Like I said I think he’s a good coach.

I just posted that to get the convo back on Stotts tbh. I'm on the fence with him staying or going at this point. Unless there was a great suggestion regarding his replacement, I just don't know...

Yeah, I wouldn't mind them going after Mark Few, or someone "youngish" from a good College program. I don't really want a retread. However, I am kind of ok with giving him another year. The Defense (which was the big complaint) got better...

Mark Few would be a fool to leave Gonzaga. I'd be more interested in Jay Wright.

A highly competitive nature and a desire to tank do not go together. It would be like asking a minister to shoplift.

Ettore Messina guys... Can we please get Ettore Messina?

Neil took a nice nap while Budenholzer was available, but what's his excuse for not considering Messina? The guy might be a top 3 coach in the league, he was HIGHLY regarded in Europe...the guy who schooled other coaches and then he had Pop as a mentor...

Budenholzer would've been a great fit for our team tho, the guy looks like he's disgusted by every play lol

That’s how I imagine I look when my two year old tells me, “daddy I pooped”.

Yeah we did that from 03-08. We didn't even make the playoffs, but damn we sure got lotto picks every year...

Which could mean a lot of things.

We had a lot more success after losing Drexler than we were supposed to, but those resulted in first round exits for like 6 years in a row.

We went lottery and got 3 star players. 2 of which had unusually short careers. This also resulted in a lot of first round exits.

We had a lot more success after losing Aldridge than we were supposed to, which resulted in some first round exits...

We have had a lot of first round exits using both strategies.

After Drexler left, Sabas got here, then Sheed. Not really a rebuild

As for Aldridge, Roy and Oden, while it obviously didn't work out, you know what the entire city and fan base had.....hope. Can you honestly say you have any hope that someday this roster will dominate?

Detroit wanted a coach that reached the finals: not another that took a pay check for 82 games. In the least, Terry got his teams into playoff berths for the last two years.

No, last year NURKIC got us to the POs. All other years, Dame did.

Oh, were you referring to the LEASTERN conference and Terry's first HC gig? Sorry, I chalked up the first part of your sentence as being a grammatically incorrect version of "at least"...
