And the same people would be crying for these magical trades that don't exist.

"KP you never make trades make one happen now!"

"I want CP3 for Armon Johnson and Przybilla and if NO shuts it down it's all your fault"

I think there's something to be said for stability and familiarity though. The longer the team can play together, without having huge changover year after year, the better they'll be. This also goes for the front office/coaching staff, which was the main reason the whole KP situation was annoying. I think some on here overvalue making moves, just to make moves. It gives us something to talk about during the summer and yes, I agree we can always be better. But I think patience is a virtue and being knee-jerk/desperate isn't. I won't presume to know if the reason KP didn't do many in-season trades is because he couldn't or because he didn't want to disrupt chemistry, or both. Unlike some on here, I don't know everything.

I still think the biggest improvement we can have is just by being healthy. So yeah, in the end I do like our team. Sue me.

Well, with the caveat that the team has to be good (i.e., have talent and balance) in the first place. You can put a bunch of healthy shmoes together for eternity and you still have a bad team.

I do believe in continuous improvement, but the core of this team is pretty set (unless they can swing for Chris Paul, of course). Otherwise, help with specific tasks. Fortunately, this board is not GM and they are not trading Roy, and extremely unlikely to trade Aldridge or Oden. Rudy wants out, find a decent deal.

Heh, yes, there's always a caveat. Let's just say I wasn't a proponent of patience and familiarity in 2005. I'm referring to a young playoff team that never even resembled healthy last year.

Judging by the number of vacations he takes I have a pretty good guess.

GM search is sure moving right along!

I'm glad you know he's lying, must be awesome being inside Miller's head.

BUT WE CANT CALL KEVIN PRITCHARD A BAD MAN OR WE ARE JUST FALLING FOR PROPAGANDA.

I think Larry's spent more time planning his vacations then planning for GMs.

Oh great, Grandpa is as much fun as a barrel of monkeys when he is on the phone with his boss.

"Grandpa, can we go to the park?"
"As soon as PA is done talking about his new toy"
"Awwwwww. We are never gonna go"

While he isn't taking vacations Larry Miller is tampering with Chris Paul

hey everyone, look at me! over here! look at me!

I'll be your dancing monkey boy... just validate my existence with your scorn and laughter

What outrageous claims will have to be made to keep you from ignoring me? Wait wait! what will these crazy fingers type next? fa<Sa0u/9f0m3C44. There, I said it. Oden raped Bert Kolde at KP's lake house. It's the truth and you know it.

I'll be seeking your attention the rest of the summer

    Larry Miller MIA huh?

Apparently paul Allen knew where he was.

    Regarding GM:
Via Brain T. Smith from Twitter:"president Miller's "vacation": Two days spent with his grandchildren, while being on the phone with owner Allen entire time."

"#Blazers are still open to sign-and-trade possibilities, Miller said. Team is exploring all options, but must wait for big players to sign."

"After conducting recent interviews by phone, #Blazers will likely begin meeting in person with next round of GM candidates, Miller said."
