Miley Cyrus is 6'7? never would have guessed!

by the way, at pre-draft Brown was measured as 6'7.25; Chriss was measured at 6'8.75. Same wingspan though

then why did the NBA 'force' teams to stop listing in-shoe's heights?

Chriss was measured as 1.5" taller than Brown. If they both wore shoes with 2" of lift, Chriss would still be 1.5" taller.

to put another way, if somebody was 6'5 but wore 3" high shoes, and somebody was 6.7, but wore 1" high shoes...."look, they are the same height!"

If you combined Brown and Watford you'd have a lottery pick talent.

It was mostly in garbage time, but the uber-raw GBIII showed some signs against the Bucks, including a very smooth, fairly quick release '3' to go along with his ridiculous athleticism.

This may have been posted already, but dug around to see why such a highly recruited kid didn't go till the 2nd round.

His shot needs work, I think every jumper I’ve seen him attempt has looked different. He’s also very sped up in everything he does, so maybe it’s just more of that. His defensive instincts are actually pretty good for such a raw player though. But yeah, he looks at least another year of development away from being a rotational player.

I think he's a guy more focused on inventing different dunks than becoming a better fundamental basketball player.

idk if that’s fair; if he wasn’t worried about fundamentals he wouldn’t be out there trying to take charges to the point of leaving his own man to do it (saw him do that last night)

He’s just super raw and has a lot to learn. But he seems willing, to me at least.

Some players take time and others don't. Yes the draft is a crap shoot. But players are better college players then they ever be a pro player and vice versa. Then there some are just basketball players that don't stand out in any category when they do there evaluations on them.

    Jerami: 6’7, 7’2” wingspan, 8’11 standing reach, 39th pick
    Brown: 6’8, 7’0” wingspan, 8’11 standing reach, 43rd pick

Greg’s PER, rebound, block, and steal rates are superior to Jeramis career rates. Identical free throw and turnover rates. Obviously a difference in minutes, but I’m a believer that rebound, block, and steal rates translate to larger roles. And Browns shooting efficiency has actually gone up with more minutes; he’s averaging 45% from field, 33% from three, and 73% from the line in 17mpg in February.

Would be hilarious if we just found Jerami at home. This staff really deserves credit at developing players. Would’ve never guessed Brown would contribute as a rookie.

GB3 is a more intelligent, higher-ceiling version of Trout.

I mean no disrespect to Trout, as he was a fun person and fun to watch. I feel like Trout lacked any sort of killer instinct, but GB3 enjoys those moments. He can get cocky, and I like that, as long as he can properly channel it.

Maybe showing signs? He is now going to get regular minutes which I hope all the young kids do. In his last 4 games:

    16.7 minutes
    10.7 ppg
    4 rpg
    73% FT
    33% from '3'
45% FG (one bad game of 4-13 really brought that down)
    0.75 blocks

    Per 36:
    23 ppg
    8.6 rpg
    1.6 blocks
