Good we need some fire, let Henderson get fired up and Lets have Davis and Green go at it. Gotta play with some intensity that we didn't see today.

Done bother getting into a fight with Varejeo, he sucks. Get into a fight with Thompson or Green. Say something about their mother then take a bunch right to the face. Gerald Henderson can be the assassin that earns us a championship.

I really think the refs blew this one. It's obvious that Varejao did trip Hendo on purpose.

For that, I'd have thrown Varejao out of the game and the league should look into a suspension.

It's one thing to foul hard, it's another to try and hurt another player.

    We're too nice.

We're like GS before Draymond came into his own.

Need to either address that this summer by going after some guys with that dog mentality, or let guys who have that fire bloom in house. Oddly enough, the guy on our team who I think has that fire a bit is CJ.

very much so. Not saying they need to be dirty, but they need to not put up with that shit. And play better defense.

Varajao impeded Hendersons right to move through the lane, as a result they bumped hard into each other: foul Varajao. Varajao CLEARLY looked directly at Henderson's leg and purposely kicked his leg out from under him: Ejection Varajao. Later, while Henderson was on the court during live play, and Varajao was out of the game, Varajao stood up and went over to Henderson and taunted him. Second technical and ejection: Varajao.

But that's not what the refs did. They completely screwed the pooch. Will the league do the right thing and suspend Varajao for the next game? I sincerely doubt it.

I know it's easy for me to say, but I wish Henderson would knock that fucker out at his first opportunity. And yes I know it hurts us more than them. And that's what empowers goons like Varejao to try to get the other team's players thrown out of games.

Sometimes, NBA players say stupid things. OTOH, sometimes they're too nice - and that was the case here. Hendo should have said: "He's dirty, he's always been dirty. I shouldn't have engaged. Of course, if I didn't do anything they the film crews might not have noticed his dirty play, shrug. We lost - I have to be more focussed on the game. Next game I will be. I'm not going to change a dirty player - he'll never be sorry about being dirty."

What is ridiculous is the refs wouldn't have called the tech on Varejao for intentionally tripping Henderson if Henderson hadn't gotten in his face and told him to knock it off. So Henderson got a technical foul because the refs didn't do their job.

Because that's not what should have been done. AV is owning his spot when Henderson creates contact. MARGINAL contact no foul should be called. AV intentionally trips GH. Unsporting foul. Tech. And yes GH gets a tech for his response. There's no way GH would have responded differently even if the T on AV was called.

Should both players have been thrown out afterward? Hell no.

in closing, there's no reason to eject either player.

    Dear NBA:

    Stop being so fucking soft...

There's no amount of time that could come between the tech that should've been called and Hendo's response.

I agree with all of that, except that we don't know what was being said in the verbal back-and-forth between Henderson and Varajao that got them their second T's. Did it qualify as taunting or should the ref have just told them to knock it off and let it go. My gut says "B", but, again, I didn't hear what was being said.

They weren't thrown out afterward. They were thrown out many minutes later for jawing at each other while Hendo was in and Varejao on the bench.

Refs could have called a foul on Varejao, there was no whistle blown.
