    Pendleton....flight issues galore, hotels that are....well not what would be needed, and crowds of dozens of hard core Blazer fans showing up. I'm guessing that wasn't high on their list.

    @Mediocre Man I get it that this isn't the way other teams have done it with their GLeague team but maybe it should be. The way our team is setting this up they get to choose which GLeague guys practice with which coaches and get to run a GLeague guy with the main team. Sharing the practice facility is pretty ingenious, in my opinion. They give an affordable option to Portland area fans to go and watch a Blazers product. This serves as a marketing tool because maybe after spending 15-70 bucks on a ticket to see our lesser or introductory product, fans will remember how much fun they have at games and this will lead to higher demand for upper bowl seats.

    I don't know how you look at this and don't see it as a very smart move, at least in theory. Then if it isn't such a great move the team still could move the G League games someplace more obscure. However that wouldn't allow for the kind of organizational development that having the same practice facility does. This idea is tight and streamlined. I don't get the complaints.

    It does give us a pro team here so the Blazers can finally move to Seattle or Vegas

    Yeah, I'm sure that's what's going on. So when someone makes sense of the thing that you are trying to say doesn't you just throw some shit like this out there. Good job.

    Actually a ton of teams play in the same city, and the majority of the newer ones. The map nearly looks like the NBA teams map;

    There are seriously people who view this as a negative? That's so sad. Says so much about them.

    There is nothing good in the suburbs. Why set them up for failure sir?

    Call them the Portland Sonics and make the future Seattle NBA team give us a couple of 1st round draft picks to get their name back.

    Dude, I’m joking. It makes no sense to me to have the team play 5 miles from daddy

    I think you are looking at this as an entertainment thing MM. Brother this is strictly business. They can now have a B team down the hall, literally. I was told they can use these guys as practice bodies without calling them up. No G-League team is in it for money, Just a talent filter in my opinion. Having them in the same practice facility will be great.

    This makes a lot of sense for the Blazers in a business sense and I for one would enjoy watching young talent develop and play in competitive games. Kind of like watching college sports as opposed to pro sports.

    Great insight, thanks. Yeah makes a ton of sense to have them at most practices. It's almost like the Blazers now have an entire extra training camp team on hand to assist them whenever they want.

    Dame, Grant, Nurk, etc probably don't practice much. You get a couple guys injured and all of the sudden not enough people to stand on the court for 5 on 5. Excited to hear how this will work.

    Get a couple of over guys injured and then we play G-leaguers. Maybe we could bring back Melo and Kanter too.

    Are you Olshey or Cronin?
