    On second thought, if the news is only "interesting" , it can't be Phil Knight buying the team, or a third mascot. Those would be game-changers.

    Perhaps the new City Edition jerseys will be 100% compostable/consumable hemp.

    I think it's just the renewal of the lease of the land that the Rose Quarter is on from the city. That is a good thing that will make it so the team will be here for a good while longer if not for good.

    If it’s good for the team and the city, I’m guessing that they’ve renewed the lease for Moda Center and will announce some renovation plans for the arena.

    Could be a G league team but I doubt that'll be in Portland. Maybe a new streaming option from the website so games can be watched online.even if you live in Oregon. Maybe Vulcan will clean up downtown and the Blazers will sponsor a "get cleaned up and get a job" program for the homeless or a rehab center for those unable to fend for themselves
