So, Nate benches his best defensive player...and still manages to play a line-up that can't score. I hope this is just "long road trip" fatigue, and not "we're sick of the coach/season" fatigue.
This isn't some sort of fluke. I think Memphis has caught up to a Nate-coached team. They are killing our horrendous defense and playing a much more disciplined game with better offensive talent.
I'm sure that will be excuse. We need to realize that teams like the Grizz are our peers, not the Lakers or Nuggets.
SAM YOUNG is taking Roy off the dribble. Camby has 2 rebounds in 11min. Everyone is throwing the ball away. Ok Nate, correct all of that or it's your fault.
Ever since we got Camby, Juwan Howard has fallen into a hole. He used to be the key guy holding us together, and he still gets minutes, but doesn't produce. He was like my favorite player there for many games. I hope he makes a comeback.
Howard has 1 rebound in 12 minutes, so maybe he should play the guy that has more rebounds, more minutes?
I'm not surprised. This team goes as far as Roy leads them. Right now Roy is not filling the role as leader, two time all star and the paid player to be consistent game in and game out. Not putting all this on Roy, I have no idea how hurt is and how much he is gritting it out (probably alot knowing the way he can play). Just saying, without all star Roy, this team is very average. Memphis has been playing well and their confidence is growing. If Blazers don't bring their A game to games like these, they will lose. I hope Roy (and staff) get this figured out by playoffs (tonight would be preferable, it's not over) . . . hope it is something that can be figured out.

Couldn't agree more. Nate has coasted off of Roy's talent since the day we drafted him. As soon as he goes down, we have no game plan.
