Nah. I don't own a tv. Comcast has good internet. But I won't give them money for tv.

I'd be excited if we get a good free agent or someone in trade. Otherwise we're just looking at another 1st round exit (or no playoffs at all if the West is strong)

This is why I didn't want us to make the playoffs. Too soon. We are a cute little team that overachieved.

Yeah that's been my biggest concern since we started playing well. Management thinks we're close to contending and brings in vets to win next year. We have a long ways to go to be close to the contenders. Most years we wouldn't have even made the West playoffs with the win total we had this unusual season.

Yeah kind of similar to the Bucks last year. Took advantage of a weak conference to grab a playoff spot.

Rooting with my heart, betting with my wallet. It helps ease the pain.

What does that mean? You put money on the Clippers? Or am I reading that wrong?

I'm saying bet on who you really believe is going to win and then cheer like crazy for the team you love. Sometimes those things line up, sometimes they don't.

Winning money when the team you are rooting for loses helps ease the loss. Winning money when your team wins is PRICELESS but you can't rely on that if you're making smart wagers.

To me, it's clear we need to be in the playoffs this year. Players like Allen Crabbe need this experience. Dame and CJ need experience facing this level of defense.

I didn't say he is a bad person. I said he is a bad fan. He is. You don't quit on a team when they're down 0-1 in the playoffs.

Well I don't think the series is over, and it's difficult to look ahead because you don't know what the roster will look like...
    But...
AC hit his "rookie wall" so he should be back to early season form next year. Heres hoping he puts in the work this offseason to be able to sustain for 82.
CJ I want to see how he improves his decision making. I'd also like Stotts to put CJ in a better position to succeed without the ball. Running CJ off the ball with multiple downpicks/baseline screens etc. CJ can shoot and I'd like to see it more take advantage of. But that requires good solid screens.
Plumlee.... I don't like him personally he's a backup center. More athletic than Freeland, just no 15ft jumper. Guy needs to learn to take charges with how athletic he is.
I'm not sold on Harkless as the starting 3/4 going forward. backup maybe, but he needs to shoot better and play position defense WAY better. Harkless to me is Thomas Robinson. Which is why Portland love shim. But T-Rob was horrible at position defense just like Harkless is. Good at making highlight plays... But highlight plays are just that, highlights. Need to be consistent defensively.

I would much rather bet on the team I'm rooting for but that is a good way to go broke if your team isn't that good. Also, there is a bit of hedging one's bet and not putting all your eggs in one basket. (Investing habit) Rooted for the Ducks against Ohio St in the Natty but the easy money was on the Buckeyes and it also made the loss sting just a bit less with the extra cheese.
