I hear he plays center, when allowed.

Continually leaving outside shooters open and playing terrible interior defense, giving up offensive rebounds......how can you expect to win??? That was TERRIBLE. Oh, and the foul with 1.8 to go? If you're gonna foul someone, make sure he doesn't get a shot up!

Wes had like 21 points in the second half, I think. I would've gone to Batum though. He is better at the quick 3 from the corner.

Lamarcus does play like a girl a lot of the time, not gonna lie. He is a very frustrating player.

That was a pretty terrible call TBH. When a player throws himself into another when the game is on the line just leave it as a no call and if it goes in it goes in. Not a good play by Jefferies anyway.

Im not debating that Wes wasn't hot. He was, Im debating giving Lillard more of an opportunity here to either give him the ball or more chances. Are we just going to keep straying away from him in the future because people are guarding/focused on him? Like people don't guard Kobe or Lebron on in bound plays. Soon it will be Lillards's team with or without Aldridge.

    It already is Lillard's team.

Not a good idea to try for a charge at the end of a game. Not at all. I would rather the guy gets hammered to the ground instead.

Whew. How hard is it to focus and get the #12 pick? We almost blew it.

In the 4th quarter, Matthews was the culprit who forgot what the Blazers were there for, but he made up for it with the last shot. Hickson and Lillard sucked, too. Kudos to Aldridge, Batum, and the rest for working so hard tonight to get us the #12 pick.

And what would you propose they run for him. The was 1.8 seconds left on the clock. Lillard is not a catch and shoot type of player. All of his plays revolve around him getting the ball and then going to work.

Lillard just HIT A THREE on a catch and shoot.

I'm not the coach, it isn't my job to think/create plays to help get your future star a shot. Like I said I will take my future star taking the shot even if it means having him run the play they just did for Wes. It wasn't exactly a catch and shoot type scenario, but he did only take like one dribble in his game winner against the Hornets. Find something for him or better just hope you get lucky in the draft to find a star or something if we got no faith in him or if poor little Lillard is getting all the focus on him.

And good point Kingspeed. Granted there was more time, but it was still catch and shoot scenario.

Well, at least the Blazers are being consistent at being inconsistent.

Why is it so difficult to teach these guys how to box out? We give up so many offensive rebounds. It's fundamentals! What about defense in general? Who is our defensive coach, Coach K?
