That must be the leaderboard. From what I had read, most teams in the league have called Kerr by now.
No way we'd trade for a big. We don't pass the ball to the one we have now. ZERO freaking passes to Oden in the first half...when he was in NO foul trouble guarded by Nick fucking Collision.
From what I read, the supposed goal of the Suns is to have their salary cap reduced by like 40 million dollars by next summer. (I don't know if that is completely correct), that would imply, that expiring contracts (Raef) might be a more important piece than in other situations.
I'd rather trade RLEC for the injured Elton Brand. If only we could convince Philly Marreese Speights is the real deal.
Wonder if there is interest in Jason Richardson. Probably a bit small for SF at 6-6, but an intriguing scorer.
Since the rumors about Portland's involvement with Stoudemire claim LMA isn't involved I'd have to think Portland's interest lays in being part of a 3-way.
I really think that if the Blazers are involved in an Amare trade, they would be a third team helping to facilitate the trade and picking up something else.
Luol will not be fully utilized until we have a guard who can find him when he is open. I'd rather trade for a PG not named Hinrich.
The ESPN rumor is Amare for RLEC, Outlaw and Bayless. The rumors they mentioned with other teams don't look much better either.
not realy sure where he would play unless we shipped joel out. we could probably get great value for him as well. a big rotation of greg/lma/amare would be beyond dominant.
I didn't say offer scrubs, but if Phoenix realizes they have to go into rebuilding mode, RLEC would be the first step along with young guys from us and Chicago, and some draft picks. Who knows, I was just throwing out some hopeful thinking with us landing Deng and Amare going to Chicago, and Phoenix getting whatever.
If Portland can squeeze Phoenix into giving up Amare for less than he's worth, then sure, get him. Portland can always try to spin either him or Aldridge off in a different deal, to get a young star point guard or something like that. I wouldn't move heaven and earth to try to acquire Stoudemire, but if Phoenix values expiring contracts and young players, that would be a consolidation deal worth doing, even if it meant making another deal down the line to make the pieces fit better.
