Terry Stotts used exactly 10 guys that half: Lillard, Matthews, Batum, Aldridge, Hickson, Leonard, Smtih, Pavlovic, Freeland, & Jeffries.
Either you're using Chris Haynes's tweets, or your wording is UNCANNILY similar. Who was the backup SF? Again the anti-Claver bias. I don't get it.
2nd quarter: Kanter came in for Jefferson and made a big difference. Maybe Leonard would have slowed him, maybe not. Would someone please tell Lillard and Batum to stop shooting lazy 3s. Tell Lillard that when we said try to score earlier, we didn't mean all 3s. Drive sometime! He's stinking up the game with missed shots. Matthews above average against his old team as usual. Freeland overmatched vs Kanter. Hickson being our starting Center over Leonard and Freeland is definitely the right choice. Aldridge sometimes plays like Brendan "Brenda" Haywood. This new undrafted SG of theirs Burks is a very active good shooter. Have they found their next Matthews?
What kinda Mormon honkey's they got running the telecasts down there in Momo land? Cant even get all the preseason games?
Oh, I thought he was undrafted. Sorry. Our starters came back in late in the 2nd and blew our lead down from 5 to 2. We have a giant foul problem at Center. 4 Hickson, 3 Freeland, Leonard out, 2 Aldridge.
Glad that we can count of Lillard being able to hit FTs. Don't know how many games THIS season it will matter in, but for the future anyway.
3rd quarter: Hickson got 2 fouls and 1 turnover in the 1st minute and didn't play again in the quarter. That gave him 4 fouls and really hurt us, since Brenda can't replace him. Jefferson and Millsap just pile up the assists. Someone's got to get between that love match. Lillard continued to stink up the shooting but took fewer shots finally. We fell behind that quarter. I like what Pavlovic does. He's selective like Batum, invisible until he does something good.
