Sooo true. That's why these struggles are a good thing. Finally are forced to deal with the underlying problem, offensive team execution. While many can't see the forest for the tree's we will come out stronger from this as a team. Let's just pray it's before playoff time.

Our games with Dallas have proven we can stop the best offensive teams, if we can just manage any form of a consistent offense there is still hope for a solid playoff showing from this squad.

So revisionist history now says that ISOs were OK when it was Roy running the ISO.

Um, have you people read your posts from the Roy days?

It was OK, and just that, OK.

With a one player team your not going to get past the first round.

No one is saying it was OK. Look where it got us, out of the first round of the playoffs...oh wait. Roy was such a talented and special player that he actually won us games with it. But there were also plenty of times when that ISO offense lost us games too.

I vividly remember the game vs. the Magic a few seasons back at the RG when we were up double digits with about 4 minutes left in the game. Nate decides to ISO Roy for the rest of the game. The Magic proceed to storm back and win it with a last second Turkoglu 3 pointer.

History is definitely not on your side my friend. I've seen plenty of teams go through what the Blazers are enduring and it usually ends up a smoking ruin. Fortunately, this team isn't tied down with too many bad contracts or long-term commitments they'd rather not have.

Ahh well, history as a predictor of the future is overrated

Right ... except for the fact that it usually is.
