A little, I think it was more of a product of the system though.
I never said Blake was an all-world defender, but if you can't stay in front of career backups, it's going to be a long night.

Playing the fastest pace in the league against the no defense GSW?

    It could happen.

Duhon is not a bad PG - but he is borderline starter material - like many players he thrives under D'Antoni - you have to respect D'Antoni's system for that.

Back to the game - time to slow the game down - let Roy do his thing, play solid defense and stop jacking up shots (I am looking at you, Rudy).

So who do some fans want to trade now while we're at halftime? Man...

B-Roy is so smart. Love it.

Portland is figuring out the game. Knicks play an unusual style. Every thing is ok.

We need to ride Brandon for this win, but it all gets started on the defensive end and we MUST get back on made baskets!

The answer is always the same - whoever KP thinks will be able to net the team someone that will make it better.

As for this game - I want to see the Blazers playing at their pace - not running and jacking shots the way the Knicks are doing. I want Rudy to try and attack the basket - not just shoot anytime he gets open. I would like Sergio to slow down and try to play a bit slower. I want Greg to play a little slower on offense but still throw them down hard - and I would like the entire team to try and pay attention to effing Tim Thomas when he is left open. Put a hand in his face.

Indiana could pull off the upset over the Lakers.. and Josh McRoberts with 11 mins, 2 points and 6 boards. WTG Josh.

Being outshot in FTs by this Knick team 17-8 at halftime is not a good sign.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Portland played one hellaciously bad half and are still tied. That's good news. They weathered the storm of their own awful shooting. The Knicks aren't shooting lights-out and the Blazers are dominating on the boards, as should be expected.

Ugly first half, but nothing suggests that the Blazers should lose the game. They're playing good defense, rebounding the ball fine...they just shot really poorly, and it's not like they're up against a good defense. It's just missing shots. I wouldn't look for that to continue.

Looks like this game will have to be won by the starters again, unless our bench figures out not to jack up so many 20-footers.
