Embid is a far superior prospect and its not even close. But I'm too snake bitten to want the Blazers to draft him. Couldn't handle another bust.
If Embiid pans out he could be great but is health is a question mark. If you see him run up and down the court, he doesn't look like someone we should take after taking Oden. The best players in this draft are Wiggins and Exum, I think Exum fits better because we already have Batum. I would trade Aldridge for Exum if possible.
I know a scout and he doesn't think that at all. Who are all these scouts who believe Embiid is the only transcendent talent, and Wiggins is Paul George, at best?
For a big guy to have back problems already at that age is extremely concerning to me. Plus, this is like Oden/Durant all over again, but like Oden light and Durant light. The Cavs will take Embiid, he'll bust and they will have botched back to back #1 picks.
I remember hearing that the Rockets were going to decline Parsons' option and let him become a free agent so they can raise his salary.
Its no so they can raise his salary, this isn't the NFL where a player can hold out and not show up, its a play to keep him or get something of value for him since next year he would be an UFA.
It was in the thread with Ryen Russillo's article. All 3 scouts he talked to said Embiid was the best player, but has back concerns. Look it up yourself. Your scout friend has been embarrassingly wrong in the past, anyhow. "Deal coming soon!"
It's so they can raise his salary, and sign him to an extension. He's played well above his second rounders pay and they are going to reward him for it. You're wrong, do some googling bro
Would the Lakers do this deal? Batum for #7 and Nash? Would we? Nash would fit nicely with our offense...obviously. Bring some much needed playoff experience. Play with or sub for Lillard We could sign Marion for this season and try to move #7 to Phoenix or Chicago for their two 1sts
