No production from our forwards or any frontcourt player for that matter was the turning point of the game. LMA looks like he's got his head up his ass the past two games. Plus "Bad Martell" showed up tonight.
I really thought he would step up in that department when Oden went down, but instead he's even worse. We really need a Bass type that will fight for them all game like, especially when Pryz isn't in there.
the 4 guard line up can work against a team like the Suns but not a much more physical team like this. Once Joel went out it was over.
We were still tied or ahead the whole game. That play and the 3 that resulted at the other end got their crowd into it and gave them the momentum to put us away. But yes Aldridge and Webster were absolutely horrible.
That's called laying an egg. I'm not too mad though, because even though we got beasted on the boards, we stayed close until the end. It came down to who could hit shots, and they caught fire. Bayless shot bad, but he won't be driving into Dwight Howard ever game.
well look on the brightside. Anyone who was averaging less than one assist on the season improved in that category!
Andre Miller was brought in here for his veteran POINT GUARD skills and yet from Day 1 of preseason, the only person he's interested in creating offense for is himself.
I'll admit he isn't a good fit here. That being said, the way Nate has jerked the rotations around all season hasn't helped. Give the guys defined roles and let them go out there and execute. Ya we've had tons of injuries but Miller has been severely misused from the start.
The thing is... I've seen him take shots when there were better shots out there and often, he refuses to pass on the fast break.
He definitely hasn't lived up to my expectations. He was unbelievable in the playoffs last year against Orlando, and the main reason Philly was competitive at all last season. I just don't blame Dre as much as I just think it's a bad fit. Package him with Rudy and whoever else to Golden St. for Anthony Randolph.
