It took McDyess 3 seasons before he could play on it and not re-aggravate it.

Yep I totally agree. This team has faced so much adversity and come through with flying colors IMO. The Blazers have shown the will compete with toughest teams even when the chips are down. They may not have the talent on paper, they may not have numbers, they might even have a lot of guys playing out of position. But they will not let you off the hook easy. They may not win. They come to play. 4 quarters. That I can be proud of.

    Game notes:

Lamarcus Aldridge would be a much better player if the team would stop forgetting to use him. 17 points at the half, never really got another offensive look until 2 minutes into the 4th quarter. It's not mystery why we struggled to score during that portion of the game.

JJ Barea draws more short white man fouls than any player in history.:tsktsk:

Bayless continues to impress. The dagger 3. Multiple steals in crunch time, the one off of Dirk was magnificent.

Blake hit some nice 3's tonight. Props to him, looks like maybe he is coming out of tha slump.

Jeff Pendergaph - I thought he did a nice job why he was in there. He picked up a couple of quick fouls, but one of those was total bullshit. I thought he did a great job bringing some muscle to the game against Dampier, and did pretty well on defense. Offensivly, he looked a little lost, but I expect that. He played hard, I am good with that. He definitly has some physicality.

NBDL - Moves like a guy who is 38. Looked like he was slow out there, not used to the speed of the game. I pretty much wondered why Dante Cunningham wasn't out there.

Roy- I can't say enough about this guy. He recognized his shots were falling short, and he started getting to the rim, and that got his game going. His ankle breaker on Howard was beutiful. I bet thats on the NBATV highlights...

Josh Howard looks like his feet are in wet cement. He looked slow, clunky in his movements. He doesn't look healthy.

I thought we should have sent somebody in to whack Dirk on the elbow a couple of times. Just for the hell of it.
