    I'm being stupidly optimistic. I do it every season right before the ass whooping begins. And I know that I do it. And I don't care. Haha

    Hey man, I'm with you. Until I see otherwise, Nance and Billups were this squad's version of Buck and Adelman--the missing pieces to elevate us to contender status.

    (Yes, I know Adelman took over midway through the '89 season--shut up, I don't care)

    Maybe, but it's more likely that his Legacy will be getting the Blazers into the playoffs every year - something I believe no other team has done during that stretch.

    You could make 4 or 5 good bets like this and cover by going with the Bucks, Phoenix, Golden State and Utah.
    Problem i see is the NBA wants the Lakers vs the Nets really really badly.

    That’s a very low bar, especially since the Blazers have seldom gotten beyond the first or second round.

    The majority of the league seldom gets beyond the second round. The Wizards last did it over 40 years ago in 1979.
