Keeping Kobe and paying him that ridiculous 25 mil F'd the Lakers in many ways, gotta love it

Not only did Kobe anchor the team with that ridiculous contract that he didn't even play for, but now he's helping to screw them out of star players. I love it.

So the Lakers brought out their "star power" to woo LaMarcus, then sent an intern to talk to Monroe?

These teams are doing our work for us.

Shit, if they go into the meeting with the knowledge that LMA is coming back, Monroe has to agree, right? That team has to be more attractive than the Lakers and Knicks.

I was trying to figure this out, too. It must have been, but it feels like it was much longer ago.

Huh - I thought he already did this one. Must have lumped DAL in with HOU in my mind.

With no Chandler, Monta, Rondo or Aminu... Dallas is horseshit.

    Dirk should demand a trade.

It's a continuation of this: "Legit question: Will Lakers style of pitch ring better with Greg Monroe, a younger player who could grow with Randle/Russell/Clarkson?"

Basically, "Will the Lakers do better with younger players than vets like LaMarcus?"
