Trust me the Lakers are not fearing us at all!!! They have the best coach and best player in the league and a great combination of youth and experience. No honest Blazer fan thinks Portland can beat the Lakers right now in a best of 7. It will take a few years but The BLAZERS will be champions soon!

I'm just teasing. Sad as it sounds... I love this stuff. For the past 6 years the Blazers weren't even relevant enough to be talked about. We must be doing something right to get the attention of the world champs.

Now that is pretty funny. Pretty boy Rick Fox as an enforcer. Like a security guard at a N'Sync concert.

Man I miss that team. Sabonis, Sheed in his prime, Pippen, Smith, Brian Grant, a Bonzi Wells all young and full of promise....

You just have to watch that video for 1 minute and it gets really hard to demonize Trader Bob. That team would've creamed this year's Lakers.

I should've just stopped watching basketball after that game and picked it up again at the beginning of last year.

Fox was NEVER an enforcer. He was an instigator. He tried to bait other players into slapping him upside the head so that they would get ejected and/or suspended. He knew that he sucked so much that it wouldn't matter if he got suspended, and would actually help his team's chances to win - as long as he took an opposing player with superior talent (which would be anyone on the floor) with him.

"It's setting up for a memorable Game 7 in LA" :sigh:

That loss started the worst 24 hours in my sporting fan history. Monday morning I learned my Redskins signed Deion Sanders, a former C*wboy and one of my most hated NFL players.

I'm sure it's a GIVEN to Mr. Fox that when Phil likely retires next year (this year?), the Lakers' next coach will certainly be a "Phil Jackson type coach", amirite?

I think he should focus more on the many questions surrounding his own team in the near future, and a good starting point is, in fact, Phil Jackson. As much as I dislike the Lakers, I do think Phil is a brilliant guy who deserves a ton of credit. So how are the Lakers going to fare when he likely retires after next season (or, possibly even this season)?

Enforcer, instigator...it boiled down to he did the dirty work. Anything it took to win. Other fans were supposed to hate him

How funny would it be in Phil Jackson left the Lakers for the Blazers? Now that would be hilarious and would cause such an uproar in L.A.!
