The Blazers scored only 18 points on swish3s versus 33 points scored by the Suns. That 15 point deficit was nearly enough to lose a game that better play, including minimized turnovers and some good defense, put us in position to win. Kudos to Dame for the excellent 4th quarter heroics that saved the game! The Blazers coaches should have put Meyers in when others were missing, especially in the 3rd quarter, to take advantage of the team leading swish3 shooter to make about 6 additional 3 point shots. This adjustment can help the Blazers toward the 112 points/game that would likely mean wins. It does not make sense to me to leave this talent on the bench. By now, Meyers should have taken at least 100 swish3 attempts, not just 17.
