It's games like tonight that makes me sometimes wonder why the team even bothers to put on a front that they give a shit.

What I was trying to say is that it's the coach's job to make adjustments. We didn't see that the whole game. If it's this easy for the opposition to eliminate your two best players from the game, then we are screwed.

I agree. The Lakers loss and Dwight Howard's constant abuse of Pau Gasol kinda makes up for this.

The Blazers did continue to battle back. Each time they got close Denver got serious, but it's not like the Blazers got blew out early and just cruised.

Well, that game was just what I expected. Having been at the game, the score was a lot closer than the game was. I hate the Thuggets, but they toyed with us tonight.

I'm not typically hard on Roy, but I agree with this...

Next home game vs SAC. This is the sign I would make.

Miller's Dunk Priceless = Roys Play Gutless

I caught that! It was hilarious! Dunk was awesome btw. Too bad it didn't ignite the spark I'd hoped it would.

It's not like I am dissapointed. I expected a loss to Denver. I did not expect how it happened though. The only positives to take away really, is that I think the backup guards continue to show growth. Batum had a rough game tonight, and really hasn't played well offensivly since his brief outburst. He got jipped on a couple of defensive calls, but that happens against Carmello. He has to get a reputation himself before he will start getting those calls.

Basically the reason the Blazers lost this game though comes down to Denver being physical with our two main scorers. The game was in reach the whole night. The only reason we couldn't get close is because of the two main guys unable to get their game going.

Nene shuving Andre Miller and another Blazer under the basket was gross. Comcast sportsnet showed that twice and Nene getting the call (FT's) a few seconds later. That pissed me off.

    You can either

    A) Be the physically dominating team.

    B) Be the team that is physically dominated.

Don't look for the refs to bail you out. The league has always been ruled by the more physically dominating teams.

Simply put, this team needs to grow a pair.

I wasn't expecting a win without Camby. Nene and Anderson were just too much size for Howard. It didn't help that B-Roy played the shittiest game of his career and Batum got into foul trouble on some bogus calls and Nate decided not to play Batum.

We have 5 very winnable games coming up. We need to take care of business and as long as Camby's around when the playoffs come around we'll be fine.
