Bayless not being content being the 3rd string guard is a good thing!

    It'll just push him.

Completely disagree. If you had been a starter/the man your whole life, work your butt off and all of a sudden weren't playing at all (not just being a backup), you wouldn't be beaming all the time. Combine that with how focused he is during games, and just the general serious attitude he has, and I'm not surprised he doesn't smile much.

I'm glad he's not happy. He shouldn't be happy sitting on the end of the bench. I don't think he's disrupting the team at all though. He's using it to fuel his own efforts in improving. I think not being content with 0-5 mpg and not being happy with the team and it's success are two entirely different things.

Also, the trade for Rubio thing is a complete pipedream.

No, no, no. Uther said he knows Bayless isn't meshing and wasn't enjoying himself. Clearly he possesses powers of perception we can't comprehend and should take his word at face value, because ... well ... "he knows" :dunno:

It looks to me that KP just pritchslapped another victim to win the tie breaker!

nathan jawai(sp?) got drafted last year right? maybe we could trade for him, he sounds like a bruiser we could use off the bench

I wouldn't be upset if we picked a project and left them overseas. I'd really like to add some veterans this summer to help spice up our roster a bit. Adding a rookie isn't something we need, unless they're someone that can contribute right away. I mean, I say I don't want another rookie, but our team wouldn't have been the same without Batum, Rudy, or Greg. If we could get someone on their level, shit.... why not?

Chad Ford seems to think this draft is going to be as bad as the 2000 and 2001 drafts:

Yeah. I'm thinking we would have to send them someone like Joel.

I'm not convinced that Joel is going to want to be a backup the rest of his career, and Oden is going to eventually play 35+ minutes per game.

Koponen and Freeland would be mid-lotto picks in this draft.

Curry sucks. Maybe at 24 he would be a good pick, but I wouldn't be crazy about a guy who only has good games against teams in the Southern Conference or where ever he plays. He completely disappeared this year when Davidson played a ranked team that was actually good.
