I was 5 when the Blazers won the championship... so I guess my fandom started then. I left Milwaukie/Clackamas in 1990 to go to college at Nevada and have continued to be a Blazers-first fan. More and more Oregonians and people from Washington are moving to Northern Nevada (Reno) so the fanbase has slowly been growing which is nice to see since I live in sea of Golden State Warriors newbie fans. Favorite moments are any of Dame's buzzer beaters/franchise wreckers. Also when Brian Grant went nose to nose with Karl Malone. Favorite players are Sabonis, Grant, Roy and Lillard. Too many legends to just name one.
Interestingly not as many. I think their mediocrity the past decade has put a damper on getting excited for their team.

I'm just an ordinary Blazers/NBA fan. I like seeing the honesty on this forum. It's a breath of fresh air compared to Blazers Edge.
Long time Blazer fan. Since 1990 to be exact. Blazers/Suns Western Conference Semis, Game 2. I was 16 and just starting to watch basketball. I live near Toronto and in a time before the Raptors existed, NBA programming was super limited. I turned this game on and watched until the early hours. I fell in love that night. I watched Clyde, Terry, Jerome (RIP), Buck & Duck (RIP) run fast break after fast break while playing smothering D. That was the start of my love of the team. I don’t think I’ve posted here before but for those wondering who this Gold Ranger guy is that has been active lately I just want to say I’ve been a long time lurker. I recognize several user names on here from when I used to be a more active poster in Blazer fan forums. I used to use the name GoldRanger on Oregonlive and was somewhat active on the Realgm forum back in the early 2000s. I then got into some stupid expensive hobbies while also finishing College and then I just stopped actively posting in these Blazers groups. I was a Portland resident my entire life until moving to the Tri Cities area of Washington earlier this year. I did it for my wife and 2 young boys (3 year old and almost 1 year old) so they could be closer to and grow up with more family (wife’s side). I still come back to Portland one day every other week or so for work. Ive had several ups and downs in life and am trying to make more efforts to improve myself overall especially financially. I figure there’s less impulse or inspiration to spend money on stupid things within a sports forum so here I am! Love me or hate me, I’ll be sticking around and am not afraid to speak my mind. Anyways just wanted to introduce or reintroduce myself and say Go Blazers!
