I don't know if you're joking but I think part of the reason people hate on Meyers so much is when he DOES flash, he makes a pretty big impact. It's not hard to see the difference in how smoothly the offense runs when Leonard is hitting his shots. A floor spacer at the 5 is such a luxury. It makes the game easier for the other four guys on the court. I know it's why I have such a love/hate relationship with him. The handful of games he actually is on, we usually win. I don't think it's a coincidence.

    Preseason bump.

Any changes anyone? And make it about what you think it will be not what you want it to be.

    Dame/CJ/Turner
    CJ/Turner
    Hark/Aminu
    Aminu/Swanigan/Collins
    Nurk/Davis/Collins

Now this is what I want:

    Dame/CJ/Turner
    CJ/Morrow
    Hark/Turner
    Collins/Swanigan
    Nurk/Davis(re-sign)/Collins

    Trade these MFs now:
    Aminu/Vonleh/Butters/Layman/Pat

Right or wrong, 5 "good" games isn't worth debating IMO. :dunno:

Which one? The old Meyers or the new one?
    :)

More or less agree with everything except I think payday patty gets a new deal after this year. He's looked really comfortable out there this preseason doing things I did not think he was capable.

Agreed. He has earned a roll from what I can tell. As you said, he looks more comfortable and he's made some plays that I don't think Crabbe was even capable of making. Might (might) be an upgrade. I wouldn't be stunned if he turns out to be. It looks like the coaching staff has more confidence in him as well which is great. I'm excited for him.

I wholeheartedly agree with your "want" rotation. However, given the fact that Pat/Jake make peanuts, I really don't care if we keep them around - we do need some guys at the end of the bench, and personally I still hold out a tiny bit of hope for both of them.

    PG: Dame/CJ/Turner
    SG: CJ/Turner
    SF: Harkless/Aminu/Turner

What I want it to be:

    SF: Harkless\Aminu\Turner
    PF: Swanigan\Collins
    C: Nurk\Collins\Davis

I don't think Aminu is going to see many minutes at the 4 this year. I dont think he will be the starter.

Stotts is probably not going with 10 man rotation. You don't count 3rd string. Choose 9.

    Dame/Turner/Bazz
    CJ/Morrow/Pat
    Hark/Aminu/Jake
    Swan/Collins/Noah
    Nurk/Davis/MyLe

Guys in bold I'd love to see traded, and still believe some other teams might possibly be interested in. That's basically $22M in salary that could theoretically be configured to match any return up to about $27M.

Laying it out this way, I feel like our rotation is very solid, and could realistically get even better if Neil were to find a decent consolidation trade partner (Like helping Phoenix open up even more cap space for for this coming summer by doing the below plus getting Dudley in on the TPE). GAH!! Can't wait for this season!!
