Damn you. This is the first thing I thought of as well. "The Hammer" is what it almost has to be, right?

Armon "a leg" Johnson--because he cost us a lot more than he's worth.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Armoni / Armani. Because he has a smooth, stylish game? (I actually haven't watched him play yet, just going by the play-making that people who did watch were talking about.)

What about hearkening back to one of my all time favorite quirky shows that ended with a bang a BIIIG bang! This show was about 20 years ahead of it's time:

We could call him Sledge-Hammer. Guy is certainly beefy enough given his height!

Armon "Guy In Suit At End Of The Bench" Johnson should suffice.

I'm guessing if we signed him, we aren't trading him as that's quite a ways out and cuts the trade partner out of contract negotiations. Further, if we signed him and aren't trading him one or two of Miller/Bayless are on ze way out IMO.

So it sounds like you're on board for my "Armani" idea, just for a different reason. ;)

    Hammmmmeeeeeeeeeer!

The end of that series is perhaps one of the best, most surprising things I've ever seen. Maybe it was because I was young and hadn't seen much, but I remember being delighted that they ended it as they did :)

Okay, for those of us who hadn't seen that series, how did it end?

I misspoke and it was actually the end of the first season (the second season being picked up was a shocker, and they made it into a "prequel" season)... Hammer is trying to defuse a nuclear bomb and he messes up and it goes off. Iirc, his captain does one last "Hammmmeeeer!" scream in frustration as the camera pans over the ruined city landscape.

Looks like a parody of Get Smart. And that's saying something.
