Let it roll off your shoulder. You'll get back in their graces. Just keep posting. When Keeping quiet your only conditioning a behavior. That something is ok when maybe it's not. When maybe it should be voiced and made known. I didn't like his draft in year one, two or three. I didn't like his free agent period in years 1, 2 and I certainly didn't like his Kaman signing or what's going on right now. I didn't like the way stood pat at the trade deadline in the last two years. When I don't like something. I'm going to expose it for what I think it is....When the man does something good. I will also touch on it and have. But it doesn't hurt for him to be questioned and challenged.

I'm not to worried about overpaying for Kaman, and I think we did overpay for him, because everyone knows how we shuddered when Rolo had to come out of the game and this gives us a legit big off the bench who can bang with just about every big in the WCF. He is also a good rebounder and can score better then any of our young guns on the bench. He also doesn't make us change our game plan to much if he has to start in place of an injured Rolo/LMA

This isn't a home run signing though because there are legit questions about his health and his ability to adapt to new teams. If he stays healthy for 60+ games and learns stotts system quickly then this is a great signing but those are big IFs. If Kaman was healthy and had shown an ability to flourish in different systems then we wouldn't have gotten him for 5m he would have priced himself out of our reach, as it is the Blazers are overpaying him taking a gamble which has a nice chance to pay off but isn't by any means a guarantee.

A lot of people wanted the MLE to be used on a backup PG but I don't see a big difference in what the PG's we would get for the MLE would put up # wise compared to Mo last year. The only real opportunity we could miss there is Isiah Thomas, but there isn't any real evidence that we could get him for the MLE yet, only rumors coming out for Sacramento's camp. Watching games last year yes the offense could, and would, become stagnant with Mo running the point when LMA/Damien/Nico were off the floor but what I also watched were teams that just feasted when Lopez came out of the game and then a complete inability for our backup bigs to score in the paint.

When I look at the PG's we could have a shot at with the BAE if Mo leaves its: Greivis Vasquez,Kirk Hinrich, DJ Augustin, Steve Blake, Luke Ridnour, Beno Udrih. There are a few that I wouldn't throw up in my mouth if we had them as the backup PG. Especially when Compared to the backup bigs who we have a shot at with the BAE:Andray Blatche,Kris Humphries, Jordan Hill, Jason Smith, Jermaine O'Neal, Cole Aldrich. Of those I listed only one of them JO would I want on my team and I wouldn't' want him to get over 10m a game. I look at the PG's who could be gotten with the BAE a lot more enticing then what the bigs you can get with the BAE.

nah MM, you misread me. I laugh all the time. I just don't use emoticons to express it. Which post were you joking in? I may have missed it but that's just because I've just returned from a long work day dealing with over 200 Oregonians and their problems. That and I haven't had my second Brandy on the rocks yet but I'm catching up

The way I look at this is that the Blazers tried with Hawes but he preferred the Clips. Kaman is a legit center who's way better than Freeland or Leonard. I might be worried about the injuries if he were a starter, but off the bench he's a reasonable risk....and we still have Leonard and Freeland. What's not to like?

Question: How many Blazer fans does it take to change a lightbulb?
Answer: Only one. Any more than that they'll break the bulb trying to turn it in opposite directions.

No one is saying anything more than just that. The stat line was just an argument to back it up.

I can't imagine Meyers or Freeland having a stat line like that in a win against a team fighting for the playoffs.

Dudes, Kaman is a good fit for this team. Vet guy a little past his prime joining a good yound team to play off the bench and fill gaping holes (Freeland, Leonard). Every championship team has a guy like this.

I think the combination of familiar faces, salary, and competitive potential all contributed to him coming here. The thing that stands out to me is we are the one team who could offer Hughes and Olshey, and I don't think their presence should not be forgotten when discussing kamans decision to sign here.

Nice bunt, but everyone was hoping for a home run. The homers replaced, "I love how Olshey always swings for the fences" with, "Every team needs a little chip like this to give the good players a rest."

The cap thing next year Isnt going to happen. We will resign lma, Wes and Lopez. Kaman will be a great trade chip next year for a team looking to shed instant salary. We are go ma have to use jt next off-season to really try to get over the hump into contender status.
