Not really cool, but a little scary. We have a coach who insists on treating our Webster like a superstar....not a good thing.
Never mind...you're that guy. Yes, Roy is a superstar and the leader of this team.....just run it through him, and 2nd round, here we come! He's the best!
My thoughts 1) The difference between the Spurs and the Blazers on offense is staggering. SA is in constant movement, and the Blazers literally stood around all game. 2) The Blazers played pretty darn well defensively. 3) This is what Roy is. A few nice games, and then crap. 4) Cho needs to get something done ASAP. We lost 6 in a row, and then beat the Clips at home, a very average at best Suns team at home, a slumping Orlando team at home, and the same average at best Suns team on the road. Then play a good team and get drilled. We didn't even score 80 points for crying out loud.
Batum continues to slump. Not even making good decisions anymore. He really needs to step up and snap out of it.
The Spurs shake you up. They get in your shirt. They pull on your jersey and shorts, they push you, they play a bit dirty. They're a frustrating team to play, and they're playing well right now. No big deal to lose to them. And with us trying to slow down the tempo, it's no big deal to score only 78 points. It's not an unsurprising result.
Roy tied for the team lead with 16 FGA. He made 4. He might as well have been wearing lead boots and a blindfold. The Spurs are a good team, but they didn't stop the Blazer offense.....the Blazers did.
