Yeah, that's the first thing I thought of, too.

I actually love the two-tone look, with the 3-pt arc separating the shades. But the Matthew Knight puke-fest court does not belong in the same sentence.

That's a CLASSIC. Great job of incorporating the team colors, yet keeping it very functional. If they wanted to shade the area inside the 3-point line a little darker or lighter, I'd be fine with that. I just don't want them to stray too far from the classic and functional look just to be trendy.

Can someone please provide an example of what this "two tone" look is so I can see what you all are hating on it for?

Yeah, y'all are being haters. The two toned scheme is pretty tight to me.

I don't think it matters, like at all.

Why people would get upset about this confuses me.

because it's change. People seem to hate that for some reason. Even if they're not sure what the ultimate outcome might be.

I'm fine with the two tone shading, but my that is one hideously busy court. The center court logo is way too big, too damn many swords and too many different colors and fonts. Why are the large swords blue and the smaller ones green. Loose the "C" with sword on either side of the key. It's totally non-functional. Make the center court logo smaller. The "Quicken Loans Arena" looks like a total afterthought. The font is different and so is the color. Two of them side-by-side is redundant. Make it the same shade of blue as the larger swords, and mirror image one on each side of the court. It really is hideous as is, and it has nothing to do with the two tone scheme.

I'd say go with red on the baseline/sidelines rather than black, bring back the white key, black free throw circle, red three point line, smaller pinwheel at center court.

I know someone wrote earlier they hated the white key, but I loved it. It was unique for Portland.

Brooklyn has a pretty sweet court. Not so much the colors, but the wood grain and pattern look nice and interesting. I'd put the emphasis more on that.

Fuck it, lets go with all man made materials and built in led lighting. It would be like playing on a giant HD TV turned face up. During the game you have a traditional basketball court but before and after it's a giant video screen.

Will be a big screen showing the court and lines, but also with sensors, so they'll never need to worry about checking replays for whether a shooter was behind the line on a 3 pointer

That would be bad ass! Not sure how sensors would work with that thick polywhatever coating you'd have to put on.

That would actually be cool, but knowing corporations, they would fuck it up so quick and make it horrible.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I think their floor is pretty tight.

I'm with Boob on the Cavs court. I hope the Blazers do a better job. Of course, the Blazers have a better logo and colors to begin with. Hopefully, MODA doesn't go with a pink court....

Meh, not thrilled, but don't feel like I want to puke either. Not great, but about 1000% better than the Cav's court. Prefer the classic pinwheel, but at least the court isn't littered with completely non-functional, random symbols and words, like Cleveland's
