    This is the biggest gamble trade Olshey has ever made in Portland. It's a single, or stretch double, but giving up the picks is a sign he's to put together a roster to win right now.

    @BonesJones et al. What does this mean in terms of cap and trades? I assume this is roughly equivalent to
    picking up Ariza contract, but would like more info.

    We probably could have had Covington at many points for 2 firsts. Wonder what sprung the decision to do it now?

    Either way, ballsy gamble finally by Olshey. It's a lot, but they should be able to recoup at least one first for Covington if things go south. Thinking about this a bit more, something like this needed to be done.

    Covington is a role player on paper, but this move could be a game changer. We saw how much of an impact Ariza made, well we just got a souped up version of that.
