And I said that above. It's not an issue for the night games. It's just a potential issue for the daytime games that take place on weekends. It seems that Kanter is able to power through it, but I'm just curious how that is done. I'd love to get a chance to sit down and talk with him about it. I don't think he'd be offended by my asking.

 

Knock off the personal insults. I said in the post that I had completely forgotten about, that I'd go for Hood first. Ever since Kanter became a Blazer and it became known that his fasting during Ramadan included not drinking during day games, I've had a concern about how that affects his performance. I thought that not having that potential issue gave an edge to signing Hood rather than Kanter. I do find it impressive that he is able to play through the fasting. That doesn't mean that there aren't possible negative impacts on his body and performance associated with it.

 

Sunset for May 5th, 2021 is 8:23pm in Portland. Let’s say there is a 7:30pm playoff game that starts at 7:45. That’s still almost the entire first quarter and all of pre-game warm-ups with no water or food. Sunrise at 5:52am so that’s roughly 14.5 hours of no food or water. It’s a difficult physical task without exercise for even one day. Very impressive.
