Richman wants to keep the pick...he says so all the time but has to have fan content so he goes through the motions but he wants to draft talent and wait to be a contender until 2 seasons from now.
I like John Collins and would be happy to have him on the Blazers. That being said, having to trade for him annoys me. I wanted the Blazers to draft him years ago, but we all know how that worked out…
Combining a couple of rumors, does anyone think the Raps would have interest in in Lu Dort, #12, and a future pick from OKC rather than the #7 this year? If so, it seems like there's a three-way opportunity, with Portland sending #7 to OKC, Anunoby to Portland, and Dort/#12/a future pick to Toronto. They'd clear cap space, get a pick this year, and get a serviceable starter at 2 to put Gary on the bench where he probably belongs. Plus they'd replace the point of attack defender that they lose in Anunoby.
Anunoby dropped in the draft thanks to a knee injury, allowing the Raptors to nab him at No. 23 overall. https://www.sportsnet.ca/basketball...:text=Anunoby dropped in the draft,23 overall. He's had a few injuries since then. Should the Raptors be worried about OG Anunoby’s injury history? (3 months ago) https://raptorsrapture.com/2022/03/07/raptors-worried-og-anunoby-injury-history/
I'd be pretty freaking caustious if Majeri is offering a player to us in trades. He is a great GM. Not the type you want to trade with.
Add your Blazer Draft Day predictions to the thread below . I'll add your prediction to the spreadsheet. "Trail Blazer draft day predictions ONLY no discussion" http://www.sportstwo.com/threads/trail-blazer-draft-day-predictions-only-no-discussion.377214/
DET Gets: John Collins ATL Gets: #7, Eric Bledsoe POR Gets: Jerami Grant, #16 I probably wouldn't do it.
We get Murray, either he falls to us at 7 or we trade up to get him. Chauncey called me last night and guaranteed it!
Is Thbulle's 4 million dollar salary really that much that Philly is desperate to trade him? It seems odd they would essentially pay to get rid of him. I like him but maybe his lack of outside shooting and rebounding is an issue. He does not sound like the 2-way player that we need. Woj: “If you’re a GM in the NBA and Daryl Morey hasn’t called and offered you #23 and Matisse Thybulle for someone on your roster, you probably have had your phone shut off.
Hollinger:https://theathletic.com/3377254/2022/06/22/nba-mock-draft-trades-rumors-news/ In the midst of all that, I’ve also heard whispers about Portland moving up to take Murray. Stay tuned.
I really like Murray, but I'm not willing to overpay to move up and get him. I'd rather take Sharpe if he's there at 7.
team met with him at the combine. There is so much film on him that there's nothing to be gained from the hoops perspective. And his character/mindset is crystal clear, so no psych eval needed. He's kinda like the complete opposite of Sharpe in many ways.
The day of the draft in 2006, we held the #7 pick (acquired from the Telfair trade). KP (and Patternash, ugh) duped Minnesota into flipping the #6 pick back to Portland for just cash. We got Brandon Roy with #6. Minnesota got Randy Foye with #7. I think it will take a bit more than cash to get up to 7 these days, especially considering KP is now the guy with #6. Am I the only weird one who like this sorta symmetry?
