False. Webster is the only true sharpshooter this team has, so his ability to knock down the three will be desperately needed when Oden and Aldridge are on the floor. Outlaw has been made somewhat expendable by the addition of Rudy and Bayless to the second unit. Outlaw might even be traded before the deadline.

True or False, McMillain will win coach of the year.

False, unless the Blazers win 65 games or otherwise are considered one of the top 3 teams in the league. Maybe next year tho!

    T/F Michael Beasley wins ROY

True, voters like PPG and beasley's contributions will be more statistical. Oden's more defensive...

T/F Blazers sign martell or frye to an extension before the season starts

False I think they would actually sign Frye to an extension before Webster but I think they wait on both. They could sign one or both next year depending on how they do this year and how much cap space they will need.

T/F KP secret target for next years FA is Kobe.

False, Kobe wouldn't want to come to Ptd and KP knows this. Also, the Blazers are stacked at SG and trying to shed any relation with players who have off court problems.

T/F Roy's heel will flare up and cause him to miss some games this year?

False his heel problems are gone, but he will likely miss time for some other injury.

T/F The most improved player will be Frye?

False, I think Frye is close to his ceiling.

True or false, either Outlaw or Webster will make a major leap in his development this season.

True but I would still like our chances with a better PG which I'm hoping Bayless fills that role.

T/F the Blazers will sign Livingston to a contract this year.

False, As much as I would like it to happen, I just don't see it happening.

T/F Nate is the coach 2 years from now

True. I think he looks to be another Popovich--lasting at least as long as his franchise players do.

T/F- Frye will establish himself as a legit three point shooter this year.

False- don't think it will happen that quickly for Frye. Maybe a year or two down the road he'll be a legit threat but I can't see him spotting up much at the 3pt line since he's not a good dribbler he would be pretty easy to guard out there.

    T/F we'll win a championship within 5 years?

True I think we will win at least one championship in the next 5 years. If we make the playoffs this year I think starting next year we will be in the mix.

T/F The Blazers will beat the Lakers on opening night.

False, Oden won't be adjusted to the NBA game, Aldridge and Roy won't be used to playing with Oden against serious NBA competition and the Lakers have a lot more experience, the single best player on either team and will be motivated by opening night. Plus, it's in LA.

True or false, Portland will at least split the four game season series with the Lakers.

True We play the Lakers tough at home. I would guess we would split or better with the Lakers again this year.

T/F Will Joel make it through 82 games this year. He said he didn't make it last year and that is one of his goals this year.

True. Having GO helps both Greg and Joel to last the season.

True or False? We at least make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs this year.

True. I've bought the Oden hype hook, line and sinker. If you put a rookie Shaq or a rookie David Robinson on this team, it's the 4th seed. So I predict home court advantage.

True/False: "RipCityTwo.com" is merely yet another explosion of mook's unbridled ego. So much so that he even has to bring it into a completely unrelated thread.

False, "RipCityTwo.com" demonstrates the talent and knowledge this group of Blazer fans have and is an example of the willingness of fans to help given the right community.

True/False: The Blazers will sell it's naming rights to the Rose Garden before the end of the season?

False. The economy is bad and the team will be more valuable in the community AFTER we have success, so if it's sold it won't be too soon.

True/false: Brandon Roy will play a career high number of games this regular season.
