Not to mention he won't be able to challenge vertically around the rim. Taller and more athletic bigs will shoot over him easily.

Great. Now we are 2-2 and stuck in mediocrity. That's the worst place to possibly be. Either be good enough to challenge for the Summer League title, or be bad enough to get a top Summer League pick. Enough. Coach Jim Moran needs to go.

If he would have tanked properly, we could have possibly Summer League drafted Jeffrey Noname, or Phil Scrubb.

Are you kidding? The kids won 1 more playoff game than the adults did and as many as they have won in the last two Playoff series combined. :bgrin:

Layman outside shot still not there but he was aggressive going to the bucket lot better for the kid. Swanigan still a solid outing for got in foul trouble still 13 and 9. Other play good Stokes and Nick Johnson. Cleveland has really quick hands. Toronto tomorrow and think the same time.

Not gonna lie. My Beaver fandom might influence my opinion on him. I liked him more than Hurd. One of my roommates back in the day was on the team when Hurd played. So i got to see him play a lot. Hurd wasn't my fave. Gave him a chance to call the games. Isn't my favorite announcer either.

I just want a reason to watch the games again. I hate Calabro and Hurd. I miss Mike and Mike. I would take Hurd or Calabro being canned if Brent replaced either one.

Look at some of the responses in this thread. People have biases, sometimes even subconsciously. Swanigan impressed me multiple times tonight with his lateral movement defensively.

And he's got plenty of length.

So Biggie was supposed to be the post game interview, and they cut away to the F'n L*kers game, that's already being shown on another channel. I don't give a crap about B*ll. I hope he slips in his own puke tomorrow night....

There's a difference between speed and lateral movement. The lateral movement is fine. He has enough to where he won't be a liability.

Let's also not forget this is the third game in four nights. Fatigue is probably setting in especially for a guy that plays as hard as Swanigan.

How can anyone complain about Swanigan right now? I'm stoked about him. More excited to see him than Collins right now. He could be the steal of the draft.

I wish Cleveland would play more hes intriguing. He would be a good candidate for a two way contract. Too bad blazers don't give a shit about the g league.

Good to see Layman play better. I think if he took the "easier" 3pt shots like the ones Harkless and Aminu take......he will be OK. (All alone with his feet set in the short corners) It's the tougher 3's off the dribble that none of them can make except Dame and CJ where he looks bad.

What I hold out hope on is the fact that if the defender runs out at him, he can pump fake and get to the basket fairly quickly and dunk with authority. I do not agree with those who say he is a poor finisher. But he has to improve his 3ball first. He is a decent defender and rebounder.
