Wonderful way to start the 2nd half of the season.

Winning in general will - and the chance to play in the post season.

As you posted before the game:

"I think it's a great situation for myself. It's a first-class organization that really takes care of their own," Camby said. "I hope I can bring my knowledge of the game, and blend in these last 27 games. I'm really excited to be here."

LaMarcus really schooled Kaman (and Jordan) tonight. great to see him put the ball on the floor a little and get to the line.

not to be a kill joy following a win, but the Clips have dropped 9 of their last 10. Their last game was a 30 point loss to the horrible Warriors who were without Monta and half their club.

The best thing about this win is that Martell and Rudy found their three point stroke. The worst of course is that Roy played and he should not have. The win keeps us in the playoff race, and the game was fun, but beating the Clips on this night doesn't prove much. Friday will be, um, a little tougher.

Ok just a couple of things I noticed tonight:

The first thing I noticed for the first time in many years tonight was that when PF were being switched out on the perimeter tonight, that when their guy was jacking up an outside 3, they were cheating off it and running. Sometimes they were just taking off as soon as the shot was launched. That is good. That is how you get easy buckets. If they miss, you hope one of your guys gets the rebound. If they make, you get an easy bucket anyhow. Either way it's an easy bucket in response for somebody taking a 3. Please do more of this!

Rudy - Nice to see him break out of his slump. He played well tonight IMO even though he had the early misses. He was more agressive going to the rim once he missed a few, and that helped him out. Sometimes you just need to see the ball go through the hoop once to get it going.

Martell-Great game tonight. I was really pleased with the way he put the ball on the floor, but somehow didn't look out as control as always. I swear the best thing this kid could do is quit making all those shots attacking the rim so ridiculously hard. Just make the easy shot/dunk. Tonight he was doing that. It made his outside game that much harder to guard, because when he is hitting outside, it opens up the inside.

Bayless is still having some games where the speed of the game is getting to him. Some games it slows down for him, and he plays well. Some games, he rushes it too much. I am hoping the playing time will help slow the game down for him, and bring him into a comfort zone where he quits pressing so much. That is the same reason his outside shooting is suffereing. He often rushes his shots.
