    Not sure if serious or not but anyways, it is a contract to play in G League but still hold rights to the player. NBA expanded rosters to 17 this year with two in G League.

    In case some of you have forgotten Gutiérrez was named the 2012 Pac-12 Conference Player of the Year, as well as the conference's Defensive Player of the Year[2][3] after averaging 13 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 steals. He also earned All-Pac-12 honors in 2011 and 2012.[4]

    I trashed him for not being able to put together a summer league team that could play around our guys that need touches, IE Collins, Swanigan, Layman, and Patty.

    Collins and Patty aren't playing anymore. Gutierrez getting minutes seemed to really help, and Hunter sliding over to the off guard position. Swanigan doesn't need a point guard. He's a hustle guy, but Collins could have really used someone running plays instead of ratball.

    The guy I was impress was Cleveland talking about kid with lock down defense. I would give him a 2way contract.

    Ha don't agree with that. Brooks has not looked like crap. Way better than I expected and way better than his draft position. So far his skill level from college has transitioned rather nicely in summer league. The real league may be a different story, but so far he looks like he has NBA talent and athletic ability.

    Really hope we give Stokes a two way contract. It will probably depend on how he plays tomorrow but I can't help but think somebody will grab him if we don't.

    Regarding two way contracts; if you check out Olsheys interview with jaynes today, he pretty much rules them out. Said something about not having their own g league affiliate so no point.
