He hasn't hit his shots, that's a far cry from not playing well. He influences the game in more ways than just scoring. Even on O he makes it easier for other players just being on the floor.
Here's my tactic for the second half: Start Bayless, give him the ball and tell him to lower his head and get to the hole.
I don't hate Oden. Every game, the thing I'm most excited about is how Oden will play. I want him to play well and I'm happy when he does. And I'm disappointed when he doesn't. Outlaw's a fun player who dunks, shoots threes, and makes big shots. He's fun to watch. That's why I like him. He gets bashed in here unnecessarily.
I think that Nate gives Joel early minutes for several reasons. To keep Greg fresh for the 2nd half, to keep Joel on board with the long term plan, to keep Joel's rhythm honed, and to make more room for Lamarcus in the offense, among other reasons...
Nah it was someone looking at the satellite directory..now it's back. Nice 3 by Blake, steal by Miller...
Mike Barrett: "Well Bower should take a time out....or have one of his assistants tell him it's time to take a time out" lol
I like Outlaw, but your jock-riding is starting to make me sour. You are giving him the MARIS/Sergio treatment - where it is getting upsetting just to think about him because of the cheer-leading. Outlaw is what he is, when he is good, it's fun, when he is not - it's not. Today, Outlaw is not good.
Yep. I remember back in the mid 90s, Larry Brown always yanked Smits after 2 fouls in the first half. It allowed Smits to play more carefree in the second half and it worked. Man, remember how good Smits was?
