So Felton scored less than his average and he was 'running circles around Miller'?

You most likely blamed Miller when he scored 52 points in a game once.

I'd say allowing 14 assists also needs to be taken into consideration. For a poster who has taken more shots at LMA than any other poster here, you sure are defensive of Miller, who is a much lesser player on both ends of the court.

Allowing assists? lol okay. Thats a reach.

My only defense of Miller is that he shouldn't be blamed for every loss. As for Aldridge, I thought we've already went over that I'm happy he's changed his game.

So, now it's Miller's fault Felton's teammates were making their shots. What's he suppose to do, guard all five opponents? Yeah, it's Miller's fault Turiaf pushed our bigs around and went 8/9 for 19 points - 15 above his season average. That's classic. Come on old man Miller, sack up and protect the paint!

And before you even go there, Miller would have had a lot more than 3 assists if HIS teammates, who shot 30% from the field, could have made an open shot.

Hey now! Don't let little things like facts get in the way of a good argument. :)

Miller couldn't stop dribble penetration and that breaks down the defense and leads to easier baskets. Miller did a poor job stopping Felton, that's all. Not one person in this thread said the loss should be blamed on Miller. Stop making things up.

Keep not remembering your vendetta against Aldridge, though.

He needed to get them better shots, and that doesn't change the fact that Felton had 14 assists.

I guess I don't see why it is such an injustice to Miller to say that Felton outplayed him. It seems obvious to me.

Miller had a GameScore of 10.3.

Felton had a GameScore of 21.6.

That said, everybody on the team stunk last night, so while Miller certainly doesn't deserve the sole blame for the loss, he isn't absolved of any blame, either.

Miller was not the reason for the loss yesterday. But as a starting PG in the NBA, when compared to the opposing PG, Miller usually falls on the side of advantage other team.

Did you even watch the game? His teammates had PLENTY of open shots. Thye just couldn' make them.

And, at least 5 of those assists came in the few minutes Patty Mills was guarding Felton. I like Patty and the enegry he brings, but watching him try to defend the high pick and roll last night was painful. Granted, Turiaf sets a good pick, but Patty is just so slight he can't fight his way through the picks, and he couldn't seem to make up his mind if he wanted to go over or under the pick. This meant he often ended up switching and NY ended up with mismatches, or worse yet, Patty ended up in no man's land, neither gurding his man, or the player that set the pick. It seemed lik ethe KNicks got an easy basket every time they ran the high pick and roll with Patty in the game.

But, why is he the one who is singled out (yet again) when his teammates played even worse.

Highest among Blazer starters. Let's look at how his fellow starters did:

    Aldridge - 5.4
    Camby - 5.7
    Batum - 8.1
    Matthews - 2.3

Yet, Miller is the one singled out for his poor play. Every one of our starters were outplayed by their Knicks counterparts. Our bigs let Rony Turiaf put up a GameScore of 23.6, yet it is Miller who gets singled out for his poor defense. Please explain.

Nope, but as usual, he's the one that gets criticized when his teammates play even worse and are far more deserving of criticism. That's, by definition, a personal vendetta.

Or, at least get your facts straight:

    GameScores for Blazer starters:

    Aldridge - 5.4
    Camby - 5.7
    Batum - 8.1
    Matthews - 2.3
    Miller - 10.3

Miller may not have played great, but he easily had the best game out of all our starters. So yes, blaming the loss on him is unjustified.

At some point, I was expecting you to see that nobody was blaming Miller for the loss. I now realize that is an impossible expectation on my end. Carry on, my Strawman son...
