Serious question: if you sincerely believe the guy is that bad - why are you convinced there will be a bidding war for his services? Shouldn't we be able to re-sign him for the league minimum?

I don't remember saying that he'd be too expensive (you might have me confused with someone else *or* I might be forgetting some old post of mine... six of one, half dozen of the other), but my angle is that I don't think he'd accept coming off the bench as LA's backup. I'd be fine with him as our go-to backup PF, but he seems a little me-first and moody from the facebook posts (yeah, not much to go on, but it's all I got) to go from starting and playing 30 minutes a game to 12-18 off the bench.

Hickson gets an extra turnover because all game long he's a man of action, taking chances under the hoop to make plays. Aldridge is a wimp of wimpitude who doesn't do anything unless it's certain of success.

Aldridge did zero in this game, and less than zero in the second half. We would have won if Hickson had played.

Which lucky team will get Hickson?

Will we be sorry long-term (Jermaine O'Neal) or short-term (Rasheed Wallace)? In other words, will Hickson win a championship right away or just be the Beast in the East?

I must be a very hateful person; because I hated listening to the laker fans in the stands; i hated having to watch online and listening to the laker announcers; i hated that all they could talk about was how the Blazers should get technicals for protesting phantom fouls, while never replaying those plays. I hated Leonard's wimpiness and I hated that Aldridge doesn't really seem to care. I'm sure there is something I am forgetting, but sometimes when I am in a rage my brain doesn't work well.

I'm probably gonna get a lot of shit for this, but it seems like any time I go into one of these game threads, it seems like there's a lot of bitching about the refs. Without singling out any poster, because it's not really just one guy but rather a collective mentality, there just seems to be a lot of consistent bitching about the refs when the Blazers play a tight one, win or lose.

so, what's your point; the fact is the lakers lead the league in only one offensive category; foul shots awarded by the refs.

Maybe i was too hard on aldridge; he is who he is; and he did give a lot of effort; it's just frustrating he can't make big shots down the stretch.

What was my point? My point was my post, and it had nothing to do with the Lakers.
