I was amazed too. All the shots he hit seem to be nothing but the bottom of the net. He scared me when he had that final 3 point shot, I thought for sure we were going into OT.

I am still trying to figure out why Dirk is able to complain that he is fouled on every shot he takes (And makes) and no one else is without getting a T. He barks at the refs the whole game until he gets the calls going his way. He is showing up the refs when he does this. So far this year they have done a pretty goof job of cleaning this up. But watching Lebron, Kobe, and Dirk these last few weeks I see they are letting some get away with it and others they don't. That does not bode well for the playoffs.

There are actually a lot of players that get away with it. you mentioned 3 but you can add Wade/Durant/Dwight/Gasol/Stoudamire/Anthony/Chris Paul. The list goes on for awhile. Everyone who shoots on avg 7+ FT a game complains constantly to the refs.

But, as we Blazers fans know, Dwight's 16 technicals indicate he gets away with it less than the other superstars.

I personally think Kobe and LeBron are the biggest offenders. Kobe really lays into the refs quite violently at times and never seems to get a technical, but he is selective in his bitching. He only seems to do it later in the game, if the game is close. I think the refs let him get away with it because he's Kobe, but also because he only really barks at them when it matters. Of course, that plays in his favor. He then gets all the calls in his favor the rest of his way and it's typical 8 on 5 Lakers basketball.

LeBron is the biggest crybaby in the entire league. He seems to whine after EVERY missed shot/turn over/foul called against him. If the refs teed him up like they would any random player, he'd be tossed in the 1st quarter of every game, and Stern would never allow that.
