You never know. There are guys who scream "big market" from the start, and there are players who you feel loyalty appears to be more important. (assuming they are getting paid) The fact that Lillard stuck with Weber State after others came calling late in the game....gives me hope.

What a game. The fact we kept it togethor with the refs heavily favoring the spurs the entire game, just shows how much grit this team had. Great win.

No shit. LMA's offensive foul in the first half was legit. He lowered his shoulder. The two in the 4th would never have been called against Duncan. They were huge calls at crucial times and the Blazers responded. Good win with a banged up Nic and no Wes.

But I see guys lower their shoulder and bang a lot in the post and it's rarely ever called on the offensive player. They seem to call that on LA 10x more than any other forward.

And the flopping rule doesn't seem to be deterring players much.

I will be curious to see how they view Splitters flop. I didnt think it as bad live but in slow mo it was obvious. And as you mentioned it could have been very costly

Kenny Smith is such a bad analyst and commentator. if it's not East coast, or somehow related to his precious UNC, it has no place in his brain.

I agree. Like I said I thought the first one was an acceptable call. But the last two really pissed me off. Partly because of the timing of the calls, but more importantly I do not want it to effect LaMarcus from shooting those shots.
He was obviously frustrated by the calls and rightfully so, but he has to keep taking them. Hopefully the refs will look at the tape and stop targeting him, because they sure seem to be.

That fake to the basket and pull back for the shot is so clean and he completely sets it up by blowing by the defender so many times to the basket.

That was a textbook Brandon Roy move. Although Roy would typically do it a few feet inside the three point line.
