I think Billups did a fine job, I've got zero issues with him... he'll be a good coach!

Good thing most those scrubs we watched in the 4th quarter won’t sniff the court much this season.

Greg Brown is super young. But damn, erratic as hell

i was tracking assists when our rotation was in there and we had like 15 at the half if i recall.

that woulda been unheard of in years past.

I think Billups did a fine job and will be a good coach. If you have a different opinion, that's totally fair too. I'm on team Billups.

OK, we out-rebounded them. We shot better from 2 and from 3. Lost the game by having 14 more turnovers than them. This game will be good starting point for Billlups. He can see all the stuff that needs to be fixed. And he will be very persistent in fixing things. He will not let things slide.

Serious questions: What are your expectations of this team? Most "dooms day" people on here seem to think we're a playoff team.

i thought there were quite a few positives to take away from tonight. defense was pretty decent in the first half. if we weren't so careless, we'd have won.

remains to be seen what chauncey can do to bounce back.

I really don’t think anyone is making any real judgements or has concern and nobody cares who won. The warriors are the same team and staff and system. They’ll look decent all preseason. For me the only concern is not a new one : Nurkic. He just doesn’t have it. The amount of times he loses the bAll or has it stripped is just getting old. Everybody else will be fine.
Oh and Jordan Poole is really good.

we saw hardly any possessions where he was the roll guy on a P&R with dame. that's the most effective use of nurk, and we saw no plays there. curious why...

I don’t know why people would be excited about using him like that. So they can throw him the ball and he can have it taken away? Or finish at the rim like a 7th grader?

I tend to agree with this. The thought that giving him more decisions to make would play to his stengths is not one I've bought into. I do expect we'll see a couple MONSTER games from Nurk this year when everything is clicking, but he'll likely hurt the offense in many games as well.

im OK with nurk getting touches, because keeping him engaged on offense unlocks one of the best defensive bigs in the league. we have numbers to show how good he can be on that end.

im more concerned with roco being a complete non-factor on O.

So are there actually people already giving up on the team after the first preseason game? Lol.

I do hope that Little's game was more that he was just a little too amped, because outside of rebounding, he didn't really look terribly good.
