You said it I just commented. Losing games to crap teams is going to happen it's a lonnnnnng season. Btw I'm not little unless you call 6'4" 210 lbs little and yes I know you have followed the team for years.
There is only one way to get our revenge now. Time to sue Memphis for signing and playing Darius Miles.
If the defense had actually been good the second half or even last quarter, they could have had this. Non-existent in one half and just okay in the the other is no way to get out of that ridiculous hole, though. Ugh. I would have thought the GS game shaming enough, but what an egg was laid tonight.
Unfortunately it looks to my eyes that the Blazers are still struggling mightily with their identity (are we a perimeter team, are we a slow team, are we an inside-out team, etc?) and Nate's substitution patterns and usage of Oden are almost borderline psycho, also Steve Blake not hitting any shots is brutal to watch, and even when he is hitting shots he's nothing special. This team needs to consolidate some of their talent and get some kind of clue when it comes to what it is that they want to do when they are on the court.
Hear the boos at the end? They deserve it. Fans don't make millions of dollars, yet they pay hundreds of dollars to watch these guys play. So why didn't they even show up until the 2nd half? This team has too much talent to lose at home to a crappy team. LaMarcus is a soft pussy. Paul Allen should have just saved his money and re-signed Channing French Frye. Steve Blake is the worst starting PG in the NBA. Nate McMoron is an idiot for playing him. Roy....his stats are similar, but I keep saying, he's not near the player he was last year. Shake up the lineup Nate!
Nate has no "feel" for how the game is going. He has a set substitution pattern and doesn't alter his game plan. I'm really starting to lose faith in him being the right guy to take this team to the next level. Playing/starting Blake is ridiculous.
Probably, but I'd already pretty much chalked that game up to a loss anyway. This one hurts though ... just embarrassing as hell.
This is the first televised Blazers game that I have not seen live or recorded in the last three years. I have a friend visiting from another country and our day went long. Sounds like I didn't miss much. Ed O.
I just wish Brandon would start making his layups and Joel starts playing less. This was embarrassing, but I'm trying not to freak out here.
