Crabbe did not shoot well from the field his first two years in the league, and I encourage you to go back and read the comments. But you seem quite invested in labeling Layman a bust already so I'll leave you to it.

Look at the bright side guys. At least we can start using "Jake Lame Man" now.

It doesn't matter what I label him. He has guaranteed contract for 2017-18. So, he has another year to prove he belongs in the league.

Swanigan has not disappointed...this is what you take from summer league....he's in shape right now....I'm going to crown him our #10 pick and Collins the #26

Biggie is definitely looking good with how he played in Summer League. Hopefully he'll take the next step and wow us in preseason.

Not sure he'll be a star, but he's going to succeed based on sheer effort. He's going to make it in this league based on his determination. I'm a fan.

One of the things that impressed me the most about him is his quick stroke on his three ball. Nice form and release. This is going to be very valuable in the future for this team.

Observation - after watching the highlights of Swanigan, the way he gets rebounds and immediately looks for an outlet pass and if it isn't there he isn't afraid to bring the ball up the court himself - kinda reminds me of Cliff Robinson.

why panic or worry, guy is a scrub and has one yr left and hasn't and won't likely ever contribute for this team and like most second rdr's its a total crapshoot and they don't often work out

Wonder why Cleveland has barely played. Thought he looked decent in the limited minutes he's had while Hunter and Johnson have been complete shit.

Yeah, kinda nice to have a bigger guy that can handle bringing the ball up the floor if need be. As he has alluded to, he's just a basketball player, he might not have a genuine position. That kinda had me concerned at first, but watching him ball, I have little concern now. He is going to be a versatile asset for this team. And I suspect that his personality and what not will mesh well with our fearless floor leader.

And therein lies the big difference. Pop is tough on everyone, even Duncan. Stotts......well, nothing more needs to be said.

What is this 'defense' you speak of?

If you've been paying attention you'd of known Swagitron was the more NBA ready prospect. Olshey pretty much mentioned Collins and Long Term in the same sentence.

My only real concern for Swanigan is his ability to switch in high picks. Not sure about his foot speed, where as Vonleh does a great job on switches.

He really reminds me of a slightly taller, early Charles Barkley....

You've obviously never seen Barkley play much, or it's been so long that you don't remember.
