What's going on with Zach? Is he back in the game?

Yo newsflash.... It's a Mutha Fubbing Summer League, it doesn't matter how good or bad the team is as a whole. Aside from unsigned players nobody cares, except fans that for some reason think it means something...

How can you make a summer league roster and not know how to throw an entry pass? #31 I'm talking about you.

Reported it's a thigh bruise, out for rest of the game.

I can't tell if Jake just has a poor feel for the game, or if he's just thinking too much and trying to work on his weaknesses.

At least we found out there is no fucking way Pat and Layman will ever make this team.

He's a shooter who can't shoot. But as an active NBA player, you'd think he'd stumble into a few scoring opportunities. He can't even clear space or get open against these guys.

Unfortunately, Layman has a guaranteed contract.

Swanigan just took his frustration with his own teammates out on Bertans. Fucking Hunter forced a dumbass drive into the defense while Swanigan made the correct read and popped out for a wide open 3 that he never got to take.

Turns out Layman is another mental midget like Meyers. At least this one won't get a second contract.

Swanigan will look even better playing with actual NBA players. I think he'll challenge Vonleh (assuming Vonleh isn't traded)

Don't count out Collins yet this year. Defensively he knows what he's doing. He's got some time here to add some muscle.

And solid defense. Good court awareness. Willing to pass the ball. Just a nice well rounded player. How did this guy drop to #26? Wow.

Well, that was a waste of time. I got to see a few more minutes of Collins and I got to see Swanigan being Swanigan and Layman being Layman (1-9) and the Spurs, with their 19 coaches, looking like they are already in mid-season form.

Basically, zero surprises, zero new insights.

So, the player who has put up the best numbers in college basketball since Tim Duncan, was universally panned by scouts because of his defense, making him a 2nd round prospect (in most of the mocks). I don't see the problem with his defense, it seems really good to me. What am I not seeing?

I actually thought Swanigan's ability to rebound and start a break with his dribbling was new, surprising, and fantastic!
