    It means that we can buy him out for roughly $4MM rather than paying him $18.9MM next year. I think the date is June 25th.

    Is that 4 days after free agents can be signed? That could be a huge benefit, because than he could be used in free agent sign and trades, which then is basically the entire off-season.
