Not sure, I doubt the Bulls would want Aminu anyway. I really liked Portis after his rookie year but he hasn't progressed as much as I thought. I will say however that I'm kind of scared about what's going to happen with Aminu after the season. Olshey would likely overpay him or he'd leave for nothing.

Your 1 on 3 is a bit embellished. But based on who is often open in the corner.......I usually prefer him not to pass it. We have a lot of "role" players on this team and many of them should not list outside "shooter" as part of their strengths. Especially when he is playing with the 2nd unit.

I know I am jerk to NO so maybe this isn’t fair, but I’m always kind of scared he’s going to over pay “his guys” and Aminu fits that bill.
Portis is younger and I think Aminu is what he is at this point so maybe Portis has a higher ceiling, but I don’t think it’s that much higher.
Also he punched his own team mate, which is weird, weirder to me is that his team seemed to side with him.

I'd be all for this. I'd try to snag Justin Holiday as well.

The Bulls would love for someone to take Holiday without having to pay them to do so. He was terrible last year (37% fg).

How many roster spots do you think we have or what would you do to clear spots?

He didn't over pay him when he first signed him...

I'd rather have Holiday than Stauskas. To me, Holiday is a lesser version of Nic Batum. Although his percentages aren't great he does have simple, repeatable form and has improved his scoring of the dribble. He's already a very good defender and rebounder. I don't know what kind of contract he has but I'd like him above Stauskas and even the inconsistent Harkless.

Definitely, but that was let’s rebuild mode. I think Aminu is on a fantastic contract right now. It seems to match what his output is. Good player, not a great player.

Right. And IMO, as evidenced by Nurk's contract, I predict we'll sign players to cap friendly contacts.

Good interior defense is more important IMO.

We can guarantee Papagiannis and package him with Swanigan.

Swanigan, Papagiannis, and two future 2nds for Portis makes sense.

Because Aminu is more expansive? then have them throw in another player

    Ew please no

AND Justin Holiday? Seriously? I’d legitimately rather have Stauskas.

Will Portis re-sign for $4.4M a year from now? If not, I'd rather keep Ed Davis. Olshey would never make a trade that stupid.

The fact we got Parker we could very well Trade Bobby. He came on last season.

Most Bulls think it was all Mirotic during that 15-7 run Truth is, Dunn, Niko and Portis all three were playing great basketball

    Portis/Parker have similar game.

And Bobby can play center with the second and third units.
