    Here's more on this ...

Not sure why this story won't die. Lakers have been pretty stealth about their moves and the original story generated from Peter Vecsey. Yet this keeps getting coverage.

WOW. If that trade actually happened... The Lakers have the best GM in history (David Stern).

Duh. I think you should consider getting yourself some mental help if you actually bought into this rumor. Drew is our future, he isn't going anywhere. Factor that in with Peter Vecsey creating this rumor, I can't believe people actually bought into this.

Like I said, I think Peter Vecsey stole the idea from deception.

I'm sure this trade talks wouldn't happen because of the following reasons:

    1. The chemistry of the team will be affected, Bynum is the 2nd or 3rd best big man in the Lakers' roster after Gasol and Odom. Although he doesn't have the same passing ability of Gasol, he is an integral part of Phil Jackson's triangle offense. Bosh is a threat in the offense but will be caught out of place when they run the triangle offense.

    2. Although Bynum is not consistent with his game, Lakers' will need his inside presence to muscle out the opponent's big men, to intimidate those who will drive to the basket and collar those rebounds. Bynum just needs to toughen up because come playoff time so as not to experience again what happen in last year's Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets where they were bullied by the Nuggets' big men.

    3. Bynum is still a work in progress, I just hope he turns into more like of a Shaquille O' Neal teaming up with Kobe to dominate the West Conf. and eventually the NBA.
