    There is no such thing. There are only strategies that work sometimes and fail other times. This is one option. Hoping for draft picks to become superstars is another. To each his own.

    Yeah how well did it work out for the Blazers? And even now, many said they would pick Oden #1 all day and every day. Just because you land a good draft pick, doesn't insure shit. Sometimes getting players that are already seasoned and you know what you get can be better. Sometimes you get that diamond in the rough and find a late pick star "Batum", Rondo, etc.
