They've mis-used and mis-interpreted the 9/11 tragedy as a way for them to play out their own 'baseball healing process' fantasy, when in fact 9/11 happened around 7 weeks before the WS (and was much more impactful and defining event with thousands of victims), while the marathon bombings happened almost 7 months ago and impacted relatively few) and, while unfortunate paled in comparison to the Aurora movie theater shooting. Did we see the Broncos play up the shooting in Aurora last season? "Colorado Strong?" LOL!

And at least we didn't have to see them come up with their own bullshit, knock-off version of 'BPD' hats with Red Sox logos? Whilel NYPD and NYFD gave their lives saving people on 9/11, I can't think of a more inept showing of how the entire Boston PD ran around trying to catch 2 guys for 2 days, closed down the whole city and still almost fucked it up by letting these guys escape.

I haven't seem McCarver that much until this post season normally I avoid him like I used to avoid Joe Morgan. As an ex Cardinal I'm surprised that he'd be hoo hahing the Red Sox. After my first overseas tours were completed I was sent to Massachusetts and arrived there just in time for the '67 World Series and Mc Carver was a member of that team. The Cardinals really had it in for the Red Sox that year. I think Matheny is looking to square up the '04 series and I think the Cardinals will do that.

...and the word is that Hillary is next in line for the job...and if the GOP doesn't get their head out of their ass and nominate a legit candidate, Hillary will win.
