I'm leaning towards Jackson................perhaps, solely due to Martell's injury/surgery. (OTOH, when does Frye return?)

I'd keep Hill, just because we need to have a practice body for Oden, and if Joel has some health issues. Shavlik looked good, but we have 3 PFs already.. Jackson hasn't looked too hot yet, so I don't know about him. Batum has looked a lot better even

Randolph. Because he shot 9 times yesterday and did not miss.

If Hill agreed, is there any way they can just pay him to be a practice player and not be on the roster?
also, if Randolph keeps playing that way, would they consider cutting Ike Diogu?

Shavlik Randolph had a good game but won't get any PT.

Steven Hill solely because he is an extra post body for practice.

Unless Randolph goes for more 19/10s from here on out, it will be Steven Hill.

I'd go 95% Hill at this point.

    Steven Hill.

    3rd string C > 4th string PF

Randolph has split time between C and PF throughout his career. I don't know why people think he is only a PF. Randolph is a better player than Hill hands down, I think S-Bo is the one we should keep. He can be a practice dummy too.

I say Randolph, even if he doesn't get PT here hes coming off a injury, we sign him to a two year deal with a 3rd year team option. He proves himself this year and than becomes a tradeable asset next year, sounds like another one of KP's buy low sell high tactics.

He's not a center though. At least not one that can give Oden some work in practice when Joel needs a rest.

Outlaw has split time between SF and PF; that doesn't make him a PF, however.

I like the potential flexibility with only 14 on the roster.

Randolph is 6-10 240, Hill is 7-0 245, not that big of a difference :dunno:

I lean Hill because I think Joel is likely to end up one of the odd men out of the rotation by seasons end. At the midseason trade deadline his value should be high though and having Hill on board would allow them to consider moving JP without leaving the 5 spot stretched too thin

after reading the game report today from a couple guys who saw the game, I have to second my own motion; cut Diogu and that opens the possibility of keeping both Randolph and Hill, although with our injuries in the small sector of the team, maybe we need to bring someone new in and try them out, since Jackson doesn't seem to be cutting it.

Right now, to me, Randolph is looking much better than Diogu. Hill's strong point is that he is a work out partner for Greg and Joel. But if Randolph can also fill this bill, then I wouldn't mind keeping him.

Can we just get on with the Diogu/Outlaw/Raef Consolidation trade, please?

(I would've thrown Bayless in there, too, but I don't want to alienate EVERYONE.)

I'd rather keep someone who we may need to use and get a little production out of. That eliminates HIll right away. Jackson can play at this level and is smart. He'd be my pick.

As things stand now, without a doubt, Hill. Having Joel and Oden beating each other up in practice doesn't make any sense. None of the other guys is good enough to warrant passing on Hill as a practice player.
